Frances Riggs Foley's Obituary
Graveside services will be held, 3:00 PM, Monday, January 4th, 2010 at Columbia Memorial Gardens. Frances passed away in Portland, January 1st 2010. She was 90 years old.
Born March 23, 1919 at Glen Ferris, West Virginia to W.W. & Nina House Coleman. She was raised in the area and graduated high school there. She married Douglas M. Foley, November 23, 1939 at Pomeroy, Ohio. Frances received her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics at West Virginia University in 1965 and was a Dietician for many years at hospitals and state facilities. They moved to St. Helens, Oregon in 1999 from North Carolina after her husband retired.
She is survived by children; Douglas M. Foley Jr. of Portland, OR, Elaine Kapinos of Vancouver, WA and Jack R. Foley of St. Helens, OR. Brother, Dan Coleman of Ashland, Kentucky. 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
