Frank D. Criscenti's Obituary
Frank D. Criscenti was born on January 13, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Dominic & Frances Barressi Criscenti.
He died at his home in St. Helens, Oregon on January 30, 2012 at the age of 80.
Frank attended elementary school in Michigan, later moving to California and graduating from San Diego High School in 1949. He received his Associates Degree in Azusa, California in 1982.
He married Sandra Sleight Gates on May 6, 1967 in West Covina, California. He worked as a supervisor of vocational instruction for the California Department of Corrections for 21 years, retiring in 1995.
They moved from Sacramento, California to St. Helens in May of 2004.
They were members of St. Frederic Catholic Church and he enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, bowling, gambling, gardening, dogs. His greatest delight was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: Wife: Sandra Criscenti of St. Helens, 6 Children and signifigant others: Frank Criscenti Lynneof Redwood City, CA.; Don Criscenti of San Francisco, CA.; Frannie Skaates Heatherof Sonoma, CA.; Rosalie Criscenti of Jamaica; Stephen Gates Vickiof Winchester, CA.; Dominique Earl Adamof Scappoose, OR.; Brothers: Tony Criscenti of Hemet, CA.; Dominic Criscenti Sharonof Portland, OR.; 12 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; Nieces & Nephews: Dominic, John & Diane, Emmy & John, Betsy & Donald, Gina, Julie Anne, Cheryl.
Viewing & Visitation: 9-5 Thursday
Funeral Service: Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9:30 AM both at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens, OR.
Committal Service & Vault Interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society in Frank's name.
