Frank H. Sargent's Obituary
Frank H. Sargent was born on January 9, 1916 in Harrisonburg, LA. to Thomas W. & Julia M. Simmons Sargent.
He died at his home in St. Helens on May 11, 2006 at the age of 90.
He was educated in Harrisonburg, LA. and graduated in 1934.
He was in the Navy during WWII and served in the South Pacific.
After being discharged he moved to St. Helens living here since.
He married Elizabeth Grubb in 1944 and she preceded him in death in 1981. He married Virginia in 1984, she also preceded him in death in 1986, He then married Ruth Hanifan in 1991 and she preceded him in death in 1999.
He worked at Boise as a lift driver from '51 to '78 when he retired.
His first wife was an active member and he helped build Sunset Park Church.
His enjoyments included gardening, fishing, hunting, a craftsman, woodworking, cooking, an outdoorsman and bargain hunter.
Survivors include: Daughter: Ione Morey of Gilbert, AZ.; Sons & Daughter-in-laws: James & Tina Sargent of Scappoose; Thomas & Carol Sargent of Portland; Brother: George Sargent of Harrisonburg, LA.; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Funeral service: Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Doernbechers Childrens hospital.
