Frederick A. Thompson's Obituary
Frederick Andrew Thompson was born February 21, 1935 in Goble, Oregon. He peacefully passed away on December 22, 2013 in Longview, Washington.
He was born to Richard W. Thompson and Minnie O. (Thomas).
Fred worked many years logging and 35 years at Boise Cascade. He enjoyed his farming, the Cozy Inn and Goble Tavern. He worked and played harder. He enjoyed get-togethers with his family and special times with grandchildren.
His personality and sense of humor is one of a kind. Fred will be missed by all who knew him.
Fred is survived by his brothers; David Thompson of Clatskanie, Oregon, Gary Thompson of Longview, Washington, Wayne Thompson of Rainier, Oregon, and sister Marie Malistina of Seattle, Washington. Sons; Dale, Chris, Jim, daughter; Ellen and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive him.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brothers Frank and Arthur Thompson of Clatskanie, Oregon and John Thompson of Missouri.
There will be a Graveside Service Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Koble Cemetery in Rainier, Oregon followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM at the Beaver Homes Grange in Rainier, Oregon
