Gary Edward Smith's Obituary
Gary Edward Smith of Gresham, Oregon passed away on June 15, 2019 at the age of 75. Gary was born February 4, 1944 in Portland, Oregon to Jesse and Willamina (Ellis) Smith.
Gary joined the United States Navy in 1962 he served his country for 3 years before being honorably discharged. After his time spent in the service he worked as a machinist at Boeing in Gresham for many years, and also enjoyed his time as a volunteer firefighter.
For the last 2 and a half years Gary lived at Brookdale Senior Living in Gresham. While there he enjoyed Wii Bowling, going to the theater, attending church, his exercise classes and the numerous amount of friends he gained.
Gary is survived by his son Jason (Angela) Smith, daughters; Sara Bradley and Marcella Pehrson, brothers; Alan, Dale and Merlin and his sister Susan, grandchildren; Lorin, Megan, Michael and Melina and numerous nieces and nephews.
