George A. Gortler of St. Helens
He was born in St. Helens, OR. on April 1, 1943 to George & Blanche Goodall Gortler.
He died at his home in St. Helens, OR. on August 26, 2003 at the age of 60.
He attended and granduated from St. Helens Hi.in '61.
He was employed with Crown Zellerbach until a car accident disabled him in his early '20's. He has lived in St. Helens all of his life.
He was always wanting to help others, a child or the elderly. He gave over 10 gallons of blood in his lifetime.
He did alot of metal recycling.
Survived by: Son: Bill Gortler of Ontario, OR.;Sister: Jane Wolfe of Salem, OR.; 2 grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Sat. August 30, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal Service & Vault interment: Yankton Hillcrest cemetery.
