George G. Jauron's Obituary
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the St. Helens Elks Lodge, 2PM, Sunday July 8th. George passed away due to complications to of a heart attack on June 30th, he was 58 years old.
George Gerald Jauron was born on January 4, 1954, the first child born in St. Helens that year. He was the 2nd of four children to Ernest Morris and Priscilla Agnes DuHaime Jauron. He lived his whole life in St. Helens graduating in the class of 1972. The day of his graduation he shipped out to serve our country in the United States Army. After his service he came back home and in 1978 he married Patti Jo Hamilton on July 5th in Reno, Nevada.
From 1974 until 2009 he worked for Boise Cascade Paper Mill. George loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, clamming, crabbing, bird watching, and his visits to the Oregon coast. In the late 1980's he raced on the round track in St. Helens for several years. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. The last three years he enjoyed the companionship of his Black Lab Joey.
George is survived by his wife Patti, Children; Scott Jauron and Sheena Wallace, mom; Pat Jauron, brother, Sam and Sister Susie Jauron all of St. Helens.
Predeceased by his dad and sister Cyndi.
