Gerald J. McGlinn's Obituary
Gerald J. ''Jerry'' McGlinn was born on July 16, 1912 in Deep River, MN. to James & Tillie Meyer McGlinn.
He died in a Scappoose Care Center on June 7, 2005 at the age of 92.
He moved from Alaska to St. Helens at the age of 14, living here since.
He married Wilma in the late 1930's in St. Helens, she preceded him in death in 1983.
He was very active in Christ Episcopal Church, the Masons, Elks and VFW.
He was the Post Master for the St. Helens Post Office.
He was good and loyal to his family and an avid boater. They spent time on sand island where he taught his nieces how to water ski.
Survivors include: Brother: George McGlinn of St. Helens, OR.; 4 nieces, 6 great nieces and nephews.
Cryptside service & Entombment: Friday, June 10, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Memorial Gardens Mausoleum-Scappoose, OR.
