Geraldine E. Smith's Obituary
Geraldine E. Smith was born on December 27, 1919 in Vancouver, WA. to Virgil & Millie DeVito.
She died at her home in Scappoose on October 31, 2009 at the age of 89.
Geraldine was educated and graduated from Polytech now Jefferson Hi in Portland in 1937.
She worked in maintenance at OHSU hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1974.
Geraldine married Eugene Smith in Vancouver, WA. in 1958, he preceded her in death in 2007.
She lived in Scappoose for 30 years where she enjoyed yardwork, gardening and reading.
Survivors include: Children: Valerie Ames of Scappoose; Skip Barber of Umatilla, Oregon; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Family Home 54124 Sam Blehm Rd. Scappoose.
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose.
