Glen L. Hald's Obituary
Glen L. Hald was born on September 25, 1936 in St. Helens, Oregon to Svend & Anna Gaman Hald.
He died at a Longview Hospice care center on March 8, 2009 at the age of 72.
He was educated at McBride school and St. Helens High School. He married Marlene Olson on March 21, 1959 in Longview, WA. and they lived here all of thier life.
He worked as a truck driver for Columbia Co. road department for 30 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of St. Frederic Catholic Church and his enjoyments included working in his shop refurbishing anything. He loved spending time with family, friends and grandkids. He loved animals and nature and was a very kind and gentle soul.
Survivors include: Wife: Marlene Hald: Daughters: Vickie Ellenwood; Carla Hickey Jerry all of St. Helens; 3 grandchildren; Sister-in-law: Karen Gordon & Bendy Ho, Brother-in-law: Dennis Olson.
Rosary & Funeral Service: Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal service & Vault interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery-St. Helens, Oregon.
