Goldada W. Mehrer's Obituary
Goldada W. Mehrer was born on March 18, 1919 in Salem, Oregon to Herman & Clara Gammon Anderson.
She died at a Portland hospital on November 20, 2006 at the age of 87.
She was educated at Linnfield College and received a Masters Degree. She worked for the president of the college during her schooling.
She married Gilbert Tooke and they divorced in 1965, he preceded her in death in '76. She married Fredreck and he also preceded her in death in '77.
She worked at Portland Christian High School in business education.
She also worked in Gaston, and Newberg. Her last work before retirement was a work experience coordinator with the State of Oregon.
She moved to St. Helens from Tigard in 2000. While living in Tigard she was a member of Hall Boulevard Baptist Church and Grace Baptist in St. Helens.
She was a member of the Rebekkas Lodge and Delta Kappa Gamma where she was honored with being nominated as work experience coordinator of the year.
She loved to travel and did so extensively all over the world.
Survivors include: Judith Gettman of St. Helens; 1/2 brother: Robert Leter of West Laurel, MD.; 1st cousin: Georgia Harrington Of Portland; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral service: Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home
Private interment: Skyline Memorial Gardens-Portland, OR.
