Gregg Dennis Kaiser's Obituary
Gregg Kaiser of Scappoose, Oregon passed away October 6, 2024, at his home surrounded by loved ones, he was 66 years old. Gregg was born June 3, 1958, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Joseph and Lois (Henke) Kaiser. When Gregg was 5 years old his family moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Milwaukie, Oregon where they resided for a few years before moving out to Scappoose, where he grew up and attended school. Gregg briefly lived in California for a few years for work but moved back to Scappoose, where he resided until his death.
At a young age Gregg decided to become a carnie and travel with the carnival, he said it was some of the best work he ever did and that he learned a lot of life skills during those 3 years. He then started driving truck, over the years as a long-haul driver and as a dump truck operator being able to stay local was an added benefit. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, being outdoors, riding and working on his bike, he was great mechanic. And he loved cats.
He is survived by his companion of 14 years Lori Adams, three daughters; Carley Smolak, Jamie Nellis, and Jennifer Boswell, Lori’s four children; Angela Windsor, Amber Balcuns, Ian Balcuns and Elijah Balcuns, three brothers; Jeff Kaiser, Gary Kaiser, and Howard Kaiser, two sisters; Shannon Sayers, and Leann Abbott, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers: Joey Kaiser and Scott Brown.
