Gregory G. Fischer's Obituary
Gregory G. Fischer was born on April 6, 1954 in St. Helens, OR. to Gordon & Marianne Adams Fischer.
He died at a Portland hospital on April 6, 2006 at the age of 52.
He grew up and graduated from St. Helens Hi school in 1974. He married Pamela Adkins on March 3, 1973 in St. Helens and has lived here all of his life.
He worked as a file maintenance manager at Safeway for 34 years.
He was a member and church leader of the Church of Christ in St. Helens. He was a sports broadcaster for KOHI radio for the St. Helens/Scappoose games, he also broadcasted a Southern Gospel program on Sundays on KOHI.
He was founder/lead singer for the singing group "His Song" and he loved his family.
Survivors include: Wife: Pamela Fischer of St. Helens; Children: Kyle Fischer of Hubbard, OR.; Courtney Luttmer of Sweet Home, OR.; Cassie Bissell of Hillsboro, OR; Siblings: Ed & Floyd Fischer; Vonnie Houk; Violet Vonallman; Brenda Coy; Robbie, Brian & Jeff Henningsen all of St. Helens; Steve Hall of Arley, MT.; 4 grandchildren.
Viewing & Visitation: Wed. 9-5 at Columbia Funeral Home
Celebration of Life: Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Columbia County Fairgrounds Pavilion 58892 Saulser Rd. St. Helens.
Private family committal service & vault interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery-Warren, Oregon.
