Harold D. "Hal" Swehla's Obituary
Harold D. "Hal" Swehla was born on January 7, 1928 in Grand Forks, N. Dakota to John & Olga Doll Swehla.
He died in a Portland Hospice center on June 11, 2011 at the age of 83.
Harold was in the Army from 1946 to 1947 then he
married Virginia Corra in 1950 in St. Helens, she preceded him in death on April 19, 2005.
He had resided here for 56 years, working for Boise Cascade for 35 years as a felt engineer.
Harold & Virginia had been members of St. Frederic Catholic Church.
Survivors include: 2 sons: Brian & John Swehla; Grandson: Bobby.
