Haroldene Moore's Obituary
Harlodene ''Swede'' Moore was born on March 3, 1932 in Shawneetown, Illinois to Ruben & Lena Leonberger Moore.
He died at a Portland hospital on May 23, 2005 at the age of 73.
He was educated in Illinois and was in the Korean War in the Navy from 1950 to 1954. After Korea he lived in Portland, Chapman area and St. Helens.
He was a longshoreman for 50 years for the Army Corp of Engineers and he retired from the City of St. Helens in 1999.
He was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges and the American Legion. His interests included Eagles-pictures and statues and making cribbage boards.
Survived by stepchildren: Riva Moore & Demetrie Moore; Ed & Carl Clinefelder; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Celebration of Life Gathering: Wednesday, June 1, 2005 from 2-4 at Columbia Tribute Center.
