Hazel Christine Grubb's Obituary
Hazel Christine Grubb was born February 18, 1932 in Houston, Arkansas to John and Hattie (Griffith) Stone. They later moved to California where she grew up an attended school graduating from Orosi High School in Orosi, CA. Hazel then attended Simpson Bible Institute in Seattle, WA where she met Dale Grubb the love of her life. They married on September 10, 1954.
Hazel and Dale pastored in many places, including Anatone, WA, Boise, ID, Veneta, OR, Vancouver, WA, before settling in 1977 in Scappoose, OR where Hazel lived until her passing. Hazel loved and served the Lord her whole life. She devoted her time to serving in children and women’s ministry.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Hattie Stone and her loving husband Dale.
She is survived by her children Steve (Amy) and Renee (John), her grandchildren Aaron, Christopher, Heather, Josh and Jessica, her great grandchildren Adria, Ellie, Emma and one granddaughter on the way. Also, surviving are her siblings Roger & Debbie Stone, Sadie & Bill Moser, Ray & Kathy Stone, Shirley & Ted Jones.
Hazel was kind, loving and was the most faithful servant of the Lord. She will be missed.
