Hazel I. Blackburn's Obituary
Hazel I. Blackburn was born on May 2, 1914 in Silver Creek, B.C. Canada to Emery & Mary James Miller.
She died at Hopewell House in Portland on April 14, 2004 at the age of 89.
She moved to Warren, OR. at a young age and lived here all of her life. She attended John Gumm School.
She married George on October 17, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1989.
She enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing and early on her vegetable garden.
Survivors include: Son: Bruce Blackburn of Portland, OR,; Daughters: Rose Smith of Portland, OR.; Alice Hays of Pittsburg, KS.; Sisters: Lottie Quinn of Dallas, OR.; Leona Snyder of Warren, OR.; Brothers: Fred & Charles Miller both of Warren, OR.; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside service & vault interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery-Warren, OR.; Monday April 19, 2004 at 2:00 PM
