Hazle was a wonderful person. I learned alot from her. I was very lucky to take care of her in her home. I enjoyed spending time and listening to many stories she had to tell. She was indeed a very classy lady with a big heart. Shes missed dearly. Lorna
Mrs. Vagt was such a dear Lady and wonderful teacher. My prayers go to her family.

Always to remember this fine lady as "Mrs. Vagt," one of my teachers at St. Helens Senior High School. But she was more than that to me, because the Vagt family lived across South First Street from my family, and the adults in her family, including Mrs. Vagt, would often give me a ride to school in the morning, which was better than standing in the Oregon rain waiting for the school bus. Bless her and the whole family.
