Helen G. Steele was born on June 3, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. to Walter & Mary Kroll Gawyrluk.
She died at her home in Scappoose on April 9, 2007 at the age of 76.
She was educated and graduated from Philadelphia Hi School.
She married David Steele on June 6, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA.; he preceeded her in death in 2003.
They moved to Scappoose in 1996 from Wyndmoor, PA. where she resided for 11 years.
She was a member of Morning Star Worship Center.
Survivors include: Sons & Daughter-in-laws: Ronald & Patti Steele; David & Cathleen Steele; Daughter: Marie Steele all of Scappoose, OR.; 7 grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Saturday, 4/14/07 at 10:00 AM both at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens.
Committal service & interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, Oregon.
