Helen Louise Davis' Obituary
Helen Louise Davis was born on October 18, 1943 in Hazard, Kentucky to Jasper & Edna Nichol Sams.
She died at her home in St. Helens on October 6, 2011 at the age of 67.
Helen moved to Clatskanie, Oregon 44 years ago, living there until the last 3 months in St. Helens.
She married Gordon Davis in 1964 and they divorced in 1981. She was a cook for 40 years and at the Topper's Restaurant in Longview, WA. for last 12 years, retiring due to her health.
Helen's joy & interest was for her family and grandkids.
Survivors include: 3 Daughters: Sue Fogle of St. Helens; Lori Crawford of Warrenton, OR.; Tina Davis of Longview, WA.; 3 Siblings: Norma Napier of Hazard, Kentucky; David Sams of Lyons, Indiana; James Sams of Wooten, Kentucky; 6 Grandchildren: Kayla Davis, Tony Carr, Cassie Carr, Brandon Carr, Heather Scherer, Carl Fogle all of St. Helens; 9 Great-Grandchildren; Numerous Nieces & Nephews.
Celebration of Life and Potluck: Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Best Western-St. Helens.
