Helen M. Acorda was born on September 17, 1940 in Miles City, Montana to Henry & Cathryn Sheurich Lenertz.
She died in Longview, WA. on December 15, 2009 at the age of 69.
Helen moved to Washington state where she married Robert Acorda. Moved to St. Helens from Friday Harbor, WA. 30 years ago.
She graduated from Seattle University in 1962. She worked as a medical technologist for Legacy retiring in 1996.
Helen loved traveling the world yet she loved to take the backseat. She spared no expense to make her guests feel special, yet she lived a simple life. She loved to laugh, yet she was very shy. She was Helen Acorda.
Survivors include: Daughter: Kathryn Acorda of Honolulu, Hawaii; Sister: Sharon Reed of Longview, WA.; preceded in death by Daughter-Nancy and Husband-Robert both in 1995.
Graveside service & interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Saturday, 12/26/09 at 3:00 PM.
