Helen M. Hansen's Obituary
Helen M. Hansen was born on December 14, 1930 in Stuart, Nebraska to Glen & Violet Mott Allshouse.
She died at a Portland hospital on July 12, 2011 at the age of 80.
Helen moved to Scappoose in the late 1940 and has lived here since. She attended and graduated from Scappoose High School in 1950. She married Jack Hansen on October 14, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1982.
She was a homemaker and baby sitter for all of her working life. A member of the Morning Star Worship Center in Scappoose and the Scappoose Senior Center.
Helen loved to paint ceramics, go on camping and hunting vacations and her yard and gardening.
Survivors include children: Rodney Hansen of Rainier; Carlan Hansen of Deer Island; Ronald Hansen, Michael Hansen both of Scappoose; Clinton Hansen of Albertino, TX.; Sharon Garritson of LaGrande, OR.; Kevin Hansen of Rainier; 1/2 Brothers & Sisters: Lillian Goodwin of The Dalles; Helen Sandau & Carolyn Barger both of Portland; Raymond & Donald Unger of Scappoose; 19 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren.
Viewing & visitation: 9-5 Thursday at Columbia Funeral Home
Graveside service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM
