Herbert G. Lange's Obituary
Herbert G. Lange was born on February 9, 1931 in Scappoose, Oregon to Henry & Madeline Sheldon Lange.
He died at a St. Helens nursing home on January 2, 2008 at the age of 76.
On September 17, 1950 he married Patricia Christoferson and they resided in the Scappoose/Warren area.
Most of his working days were spent in the trucking industry for Farny Truck in St. Helens from 1959 to 1981 and as co-owner of L.C. Hall Truck Line from 1982 to 1991. Herbert enjoyed his retirement years with gusto and was always willing to extend a helping hand to those in need.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, the outdoors and gardening. He was a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Lange; two daughters: Christine Lange-Webb Don and Jennifer Lange-Rebener Paul; granddaughter: Sarah; grandson: Benjamin and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing & visitation: 1-7 Monday at Columbia Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Lutheran Church.
Committal service & vault interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
