Hetty L. Pontius' Obituary
Hetty L. Pontius was born on February 12, 1918 in Woodburn, Oregon to Walter & Hulda Crouse Blakesley.
She died at her sons home in St. Helens on April 11, 2007 at the age of 89.
She moved to St. Helens at the age of 5, graduated from St. Helens High School and has lived all of her life here.
She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a homemaker, the best wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother in the world.
Survivors include: Children: Fred Pontius of St. Helens; Bob Pontius; Judy Noeller both of Vancouver, WA.; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 8 step grandchildren; 2 step great-great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Friday, April 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church.
Private Family Committal service & interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, Oregon.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice.
