Hello Jan and all,
I was blessed to have been working occasionally in St. Helens and able to visit Hilda. The visits were simply precious. I think she was very amazing, because one time I visited her was not one of her best days; and yet when I was taking pics of her for Mom Lucille she held up the little bear I gave her from Mom to her and kissed it. I did not mention Mom while taking the pics, and when I had earlier it didn't really register what I was talking about. Two other times, I was blessed to be with her when she was really having good days. I called Mom and she talked with her.
What a blessing for me to see.
I have had some health problems and not really in touch online until now; so please accept my prayers for you and my gratitude for being able to spend those precious moments with Hilda.

Jan, Jack & Family: Just wanted you to know how much I admired your mother and father. They were so beautiful and such a wonderful couple. We will always remember Aunt Hilda for her delightful personality. She just lit up the room when she was there. I will always remember several family reunions at Lake Tahoe, and how the slot machines would call her name, and she would win the big money. She was just a delight. I had not seen her in years, but I will always remember her, and what a classy lady she was.
Love you Jan, I know one day, we will see Aunt Hilda again.

I will never forget Hilda. Yes, she sure was a classy lady and always happy and cheerful. Her hair was always perfect too. My husband Tom and I enjoyed some good times with Roy and Hilda. They were a perfect couple. I will miss Hilda and her beautiful smile.

What a beautiful, gracious, exquisitely groomed lady Hilda was. She was always a lady. I'm sure you have very fond memories of her, and your Dad, as well you should. It was our privilege to have known her. You are like her in many ways, and so fortunate to have had her with you for so many years. Also, I'd like to tell you what a nice job you did on her obituary.
