Howard M. Northcote's Obituary
Howard M. Northcote was born on Febuary 8, 1925 in Oelwein, Iowa to John & Emma Delphey Northcote.
He died in a Portland hospital on February 16, 2006 at the age of 81.
He was educated in Newton & Olewein, Iowa. He married Mary Baylog on October 19, 1957.
He was in the Navy during WWII and went on to serve with the Coast Guard for 20 years, retiring in August of 1968.
They moved from Astoria to Scappoose at that time and in 1969 to Warren.
He was raised in the Catholic denomination. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. In the '70's he and his son rode motorcycles together. As time went on motorcyles gave way to a Vespa and later a bicycle. They also traveled and camped in Montana and Idaho.
Survivors include: Son; Scott Northcote of Scappoose; Siblings: Dorothy Scott of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; Dick Northcote of Knoxville, Iowa; 3 grandchildren: Jared Northcote, Robin Conn, Russel Charley; 3 great grandchildren.
