Ila Fern Cade was born on February 12, 1930 in St. Helens, Oregon to Marion & Garnet McGuffey Yeager.
She died at a St. Helens care center on March 17, 2008 at the age of 78.
She was born and raised here living here all of her life with the exception of a few intermittent moves to Arkansas and Coos Bay, OR.
She married Paul V. Cade on November 10, 1948 in Vancouver, WA.; he preceded her in death on April 7, 1981.
She was a cook for the St. Helens School District retiring on October 1, 1988. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Sons: Rick & Larry Cade, both of St. Helens; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, Oregon.
