Irene Angeline Rheault's Obituary
Funeral Service, 10:30 AM, Monday, November 21st at Columbia Funeral Home, St. Helens, Oregon. Mrs. Rheault passed away November 14th in Portland. She was 77 years of age.
Irene was born October 17, 1934 in Ada, North Dakota to Ernest and Gertrude Fenske Christensen, the elder of two children. Raised in Felton, Minnesota, she graduated from Felton High School in 1952. Irene married Florent Claude Rheault on September 10th, 1955 in Wild Rice, North Dakota. They moved to the Northwest from Fargo in 1961 where they resided in Portland until 23 years ago when they moved to Scappoose.
Most of her life as a wife she raised her six children, but later on she worked for Columbia Sportswear in the mid 70's and then for H&R Block in Vancouver for three years. She later bought her own H&R Block Services in St. Helens and retiring from the profession in 2000.
Irene is survived by her husband of 56 years Florent, children; Greg Rheault Dana of Vancouver, WA, Deanne Gomes of St. Helens, Bruce Rheault of Oregon City, Jenelle Ed Somers of Molalla and Lisa Albert Braaten of St. Helens, brother Alan Christensen of Moorhead, MN, eight grandchildren; Shanee, Cameron, Cory, Phillip, Michael, Kendra, Kyle and Breana, three great grandchildren; Xavier, Braden and Tamika. Preceded in death by son, Steve.
