Iris Thelma Pasero
Private family graveside gathering will be held at a later date. Mrs. Pasero died March 12, 2011 at Avamere in St. Helens, Oregon. She was 91 years of age.
Born March 21, 1919 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Ezra Samuel and Maude Crone Beard, she was one of seven children. Her family moved to the St. Helens area when she was young and Iris graduated from St. Helens High School in 1936.
A few years later she married Angelo Pasero, Jr. at the United Methodist Church in St. Helens, September 13, 1941. Angelo died in 1992.
Iris worked for many years as a receptionist for Dr. Jack Smith an Optometrist before retiring. She was a life member of the United Methodist Church, and a longtime member of the Women's Guild and past president of the St. Helens Garden Club.
Iris is survived by her sons: Paul Pasero and his wife Judy of Boise, Idaho and Karl Pasero and his wife Donna of Portland, Oregon, four granddaughters Kristi, Karen, Nicole, and Natalie, and 7 great grandchildren. Siblings: Bonnie Seely of Hemet, CA, Phyllis Moss of St. Helens and Vernon Beard of Wilsonville, OR.
