Irving A. Lindsten of St. Helens
He was born in St. Helens, OR. on July 16, 1918 to Herman & Louise Anderson Linsten.
He died at a St. Helens care Facility on September 9, 2003 at the age of 85.
Educated and graduated from St. Helens Hi in '37.
He was in the Navy in the S. Pacific from 9/30/41 to 9/29/45.
He married Lois in Alameda, CA. in 1944, after the war they moved back to St. Helens where he resided until his death.
He was a millwright for Boise in St. Helens for 34 years, retiring in '82.
He was a member of St. Frederic Catholic Church and the Vice President and pioneer of the Columbia Co. Go-cart club. His enjoyments included motor sports, racing, and gardening.
Survivors include: Wife-Lois of St. Helens; Son-Mike of Clackamas; 2 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Graveside service & inurnment: Friday 9/12/03 at 3:00 PM at Willamette National Cemetery-Portland
