Mr. Blair has always had a special place in my life. I met him at outdoor school in 1970 when I was attending OCE now Western Oregon U.. It was a workshop for educators. In 1971 I had several interviews in different districts and I picked Scappoose to teach 2nd grade and Mr. Blair was my principal. He and his lovely wife attended my wedding in 1976 in Sherwood which was so kind of them. He was the greatest principal and had such a quick wit. I wish I could have seen him again to tell him what an important part in had in my 28 years of teaching. Second grade is still my favorite grade.
