Jack Lee Eller's Obituary
Jack Lee Eller was born on November 29, 1935 in Mariarne, Missouri to Jack & Roberta McFarlen Eller.
He died at the Portland Veterans hospital on October 23, 2008 at the age of 72.
His schooling was in California, Junior High and High School in VanNuys, CA.; College at L.A. State College.
He was in the Army from 1953 until 1969. He moved Columbia County in 1973, living here until present.
Jack retired as a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service in Portland. Working there from 1973 until retirement in 1992.
His interests included horse racing, gambling and the stock market.
Survivors include: Daughters: Christina Parsons of Warren, OR.; Delene Carpenter of Deer Island, OR.; 3 Grandchildren: Brad Carpenter, Owen & Ross Parsons; Siblings: Frank Eller of Las Vegas, NV.; Bill Voll of Los Angeles, CA.; Close friend: James P. O'Connor of Deer Island, OR.
Graveside service & niche inurnment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM.
