James E. Brown's Obituary
James E. Brown was born June 7, 1934, in Longview, Wash., to Elmer and Freda Brown. He entered into the arms of the Lord on Nov. 5, 2013, at Hospice Care in Longview.
Jim was preceded in death by his three brothers, Ray Brown of Bend, Ore., Delbert Brown of Reedsport, Ore., and Harold Brown of Tacoma, Wash.; and sister Edna Brown of Clatskanie.
He is survived by his brother, Ken Brown, of Rainier, and sisters Joanne Fristad of Ione, Wash., Nora Porter of Pe Ell, Wash., and Mildred Brown of Corvallis, Ore.
Jim was a resident of Clatskanie, growing up and residing in St. Helens before his passing. He was a kind and generous man and a friend to many.
We will miss him greatly but only until we meet him again.
A graveside service will be held at Columbia Memorial Garden in St. Helens on Dec. 5, 2013, at 2 p.m., with a reception following at St. Helens Senior Center from 3–5 p.m.
