James Crist's Obituary
James Earl Crist was born in Quincy, IL on Dec 23, 1944 and passed away in his home on Apr 26, 2018 in Scappoose, OR at the age of 73.
James moved to Portland were he did a tour in the military as a marine. He married Neva Olsen of Scappoose on Feb, 08 1975. He Started a Marine Electrical business. He worked in Portland, The Dalles, Astoria, Wilsonville, and Vancouver. He built the electrical systems of many tugs and barges for 28 years. he held a life time membership at the St. Helens Moose Lodge. James retired in 2009 but continued to work until 2012.
He is preceded in death by his brother Forest, His Sisters Vergie and Viola. He is survived by his wife Neva of 44 years, His Three children and their spouses Evelyn, Brenda and Michael Lane, and James DA and Donna Crist, and 5 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Glenn, and Sisters Marietta, Jenny, and Eileen.
