James S. Lunan's Obituary
James S. Lunan was born on August 15, 1921 in Ontario, Canada to Alexander & Charlotte Ure Lunan.
He came to the U.S. to California where he received his education.
He was in WWII and retired from the US Air Force as a Luitenant Colonel 20 years ago.
He moved from California to the Portland area 48 years ago where he was a member of the Methodist denomination, VFW Post and Disabled American Veterans.
His interests included golfing and playing bridge.
Survivors include: Children: Jan Hildreth of Scappoose; Nancy Turner of Indio, CA.; Rich Lunan of O'Fallon, Illinois; Phyllis Woodell of Portland; Sisters: Kay King of Portland; Shirley Stafford of McLean, Virginia; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Private interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Disease Association.
