Janet L. Bjork was born on November 2, 1942 in Champaign, Illinois to Bob & Mary Marquardt Porter.
She died at her home in Warren on January 17, 2008 at the age of 65.
Janet was educated in Fullerton, CA. and married to Larry Bjork on September 16, 1959 in Winterhaven, CA.
They moved to Warren in 1972 until present. She was baptized in the Lutheran denomination and was a homemaker who enjoyed ceramics and animals. She volunteered at the Columbia County Humane Society.
Survivors include: Husband: Larry Bjork of Warren; Son, Gary Bjork of Columbia City, Daughter, Milane Bjork of Columbia City, and Son, Rob of St. Helens; Brothers: Dick Porter of Scappoose; Bob Porter of Danville, CA.; Two grandchildren.
Viewing & Visitation: 1-4 Sat. & Sun.
Funeral Service: Monday, January 21, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal Service & Vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
