Janice Lynn O'Connell's Obituary
Janice Lynn O'Connell was born on February 17, 1948 in Longview, WA. to Bert & Louise Kurtz Ordal.
She died at her home in St. Helens on February 9, 2009 at the age of 60.
She was educated in Rainier and St. Helens High School. She lived most of her life in St. Helens, OR.
She worked for Allied Van Lines for 20 years and retired as the office manager in 1989 due to her health. She married Kenneth O'Connell in 1989 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
She was a member of the St. Helens Elks Lodge #1999 as well as the Ladies of the Elks. She was a people person and enjoyed socializing. She was a good private investigator.
Survivors include: Husband: Kenneth O'Connell of St. Helens, OR.; Daughters: Kristine Shaw of St. Helens, OR.; Wendy Hart of Warren, OR.; Kelly Simmons of Chehalis, WA.; Lori Russo of Boring, OR.; Brother: Tim Ordal of Vancouver, WA.; 12 grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: 2:00 PM Friday, February 20, 2009 at the St. Helens Elks Lodge.
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
