Jean - Buck's Obituary
Jean Buck was born on March 7, 1930 in Cospopolis, WA. to Lyle & Pearl Schlegel Challacombe.
She died on November 3, 2003 at her home in St. Helens, OR. at the age of 73.
She moved to St. Helens at the age of 9 and has lived her until present.
She was assistant Vice-president and district manager of Ticor Title Insurance for 33 years, retiring in April of 1995.
She was a member of 1st Christian Church in St. Helens and early on sang in the choir.
She was very active in community service, she was a member of Rotary, Columbia Co. Self Help Inc.-Community Action Team and the St. Helens planning commission and the Columbia Co. Hospital District Board.
Her interests included the humane society, cats, a horsewoman, hunting, her yard and gardening.
Survivors include: Daughter: Vicky Potter of Gig Harbor, WA.; 2 grandchildren.
Graveside service & Vault interment: Thursday 11/6/03 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Co. Humane Society.
