Jean Ann Felix's Obituary
Jean Ann Felix passed away peacefully in her home in Warren, Oregon, January 4, 2019.
Jean was born in Milnor, North Dakota on December 28, 1933 to Patrick and Myrtle Waldron, and was one of ten children. Her family moved to Oregon soon after and she spent most of her years in Portland.
She met James Morris Felix, and they were married now for 65 years. Together they had four children, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Jean had many jobs throughout the years but retired from the Portland public school cafeteria after about 10 years. She was a member of the Assumption Church in North Portland, and St. Wenceslaus in Scappoose. Jean was an avid reader, she loved doing her daily crossword puzzles, crocheting doily’s and afghans, and she was a part of multiple bowling leagues throughout her life.
Jean is survived by her husband James, her children Lynette, James Jr., and Lona, and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and six of her siblings.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at the St. Frederic’s Church of St. Helens, 1755 13th Street, on January 17, 2019. The Rosary will begin at 10:30am, with Mass at 11:00am.
