Jean L. Pfeifle's Obituary
Jean L. Pfeifle was born on June 25, 1923 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Charles & Amy Smart Baker.
She died at a St. Helens care center on March 21, 2005 at the age of 81.
She was educated in Canada, moving to Spokane, WA. in the '50's also living in Denver, CO., and Great Falls, MT. before moving to St. Helens in April of 2004.
She married Bernhardt Pfeifle on 10/16/45 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. He preceded her in death on October 11, 1988.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Falls, MT., was in the Canadian Army from 9/25/42 to 4/5/45 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and War Medal 1939-1945. Her most recent enjoyment was knitting and she knitted something for everyone in the family.
Survived by: Daughter: Robin Christianson of St. Helens, OR.; Aunt Dolly Jenkins of Whitbey, Ontario.; 2 grandsons: Joey & Timmy-preceded her in death.
Private family services & interment: Highland Cemetery in Great Falls, MT.
