Jean LaVonne Bohn-Mazour's Obituary
Jean was born December 28, 1923 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Louis J. and Laura Mae Ely Maehl. She was the 2nd of 5 children.
The family moved to the Seattle area where she was raised and schooled. She worked as a meat wrapper for over 30 years and retired at age 52.
Jean and her husband Robert Bohn moved to the St. Helens area in 1980 from Arlington, Washington. Her husband Bob passed in 1984. Years later she married Lester Mazour the love of her life and to her great sorrow he passed on in 2004.
Jean is survived by 3 of her 4 children, Robin Major of Monroe, Washington, Karen Wall of Cle Elum, Washington, and Tony Major of Bonney Lake, Washington. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, her older brother Clint Maehl and her younger sister Joyce Anderson of Seattle, Washington.
