Jerry Gay Carson

Jerry Gay Carson, age 79, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at his home in Scappoose, Oregon. He was born December 22, 1938 in Texas to Thomas Gay Carson and Amy Samantha Leath and was the youngest of four children. After receiving his GED, Jerry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served 3 years.
Jerry married Rosalie Marie Kelly in 1973 in Orchards, Washington. Together they relocated to Scappoose in 1980 where he was the Production Supervisor at Taylor Made Products for 33 years and retired in 2002.
Jerry loved fishing, blues music, watching the Seahawk and Blazer games. He was a great father, and grandfather and was always there for his children.
Jerry is survived by Jill Mendenhal, Art Carson, Brandy Lokken, and Jerry Carson Jr, Sam Carson, Debbie Carson and many grandchildren who adored him.
The family will be having closed services at Columbia Memorial Gardens.
