Jesse J. Windham's Obituary
Jesse J. Windham was born in Portland, Oregon on March 7, 1918 to Jesse & Lois Chapman Windham.
He died at his home in Deer Island on July 11, 2006 at the age of 88.
He lived all of his life in Oregon, 51 years in Columbia County.
He married Marjorie Schultz
"Pudge" in 1939 in Tillamook, she preceded him in death in 1991.
He worked for himself on his ranch for 47 years.
He was a member of the Methodist denomination, a Mason, Shriner and Elk member.
Survivors include: Son: Marc Windham of St. Helens; Karen McCann of Vancouver, WA.; Sister: Lorraine Steele of Tangent, OR.; Longtime companion: Evie Foshaug of Deer Island, OR.; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife and son Jimmie in '63.
Graveside service & interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR. Monday 7/17/06 at 1:30 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Shriners Childrens Hospital.
