Jesse L. Eldridge's Obituary
Jesse L. Eldridge was born on January 29, 1918 in Decatur, Arkansas to Jeff & Sara Dewey Eldridge.
He died at a St. Helens care center on January 10, 2004 at the age of 85.
He was educated in Arkansas and moved to St. Helens in 1949 until present.
He married Willa in 1959 in Rainier, OR., she preceded him in death on May 9, 2001.
He was the shipping Leadman for Boise Cascade Papermill for 32 years, retiring in '81.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. His enjoyments included fishing, camping, gardening and remodeling rental homes.
Survived by Son: Donald Eldridge and daughter: Linda Brooks both of St. Helens, OR.; Sister: Juanita Hogan of San Bernadino, CA.; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Thursday 1/15/04 at 10:00 am at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens, OR.
Private Vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
