Jesse R. Kennedy was born on July 11, 1921 in Plains, Montana to Frank & Sara Hamlin Kennedy.
He died on May 27, 2007 in a St. Helens nursing home at the age of 85.
He was educated in Plains, WA. moving to Wauna, Oregon in 1964.
He was a pipefitter for the Local #290 for 56 years, retiring in 1983.
He married Edna Donaldson in Longview, WA. on August 24, 1985.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in St. Helens.
His enjoyments included old cars, rockhounding, snowbirds traveling to Arizona.
Survivors include: Wife: Edna Kennedy of St. Helens; Children: Richard Kennedy of Moses Lake, WA.; Barbara Jenson of Tualatin, OR.; Gary Kennedy of Everett, WA.; Vicki Harper of Burlington, WA.; Stepchildren: Phyllis Wilson of Scappoose; Roberta Robinson of Lafayette, Alabama; Billie-Jean Combest Tyler, TX.; Sister: Helen Brown of Helena, Montana; 18 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
Viewing & Visitation: Saturday, June 2, 2007, 1-4 at Columbia Funeral Home
Celebration of Life: Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 1:00 PM at First United Methodist Church
Private interment: Plains, Montana
