Jim Davis' Obituary
Jim Davis passed away on January 5, 2019, with his family beside him. Jim was born on August 2, 1938 to Wando and Ida Davis, in St. Helens, Oregon. Jim graduated St. Helens High School, and eventually joined the National Guard. He met the love of his life, Charity and they got married in 1960 at Warren Baptist Church. Jim worked at as a supervisor at Boise Cascade, he was employed there for 43 years. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting and working on stain glass art. He was also an upstanding member of the masonic lodge for over 60 years.
Jim is survived by his wife Charity Davis, his son Pat (Shelia) Davis, his sisters, Jerry Johnson and Jackie Harrington, his two grandsons Colt Davis and Dakota Davis.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Wando and Ida Davis, his father and mother-in-law Clyde and Elizabeth McCormick, and his son Mike Davis.
A funeral will be held on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 11:00 am at Columbia Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made to Doernbecher’s children Hospital.
