Jocilyn Dawn Williams' Obituary
Jocilyn was born to Gerald and Ruth Wellborn Williams on June 29, 1979 in Portland, Oregon.
Jocilyn was a 1998 graduate from Scappoose High.
She moved to Georgia after graduation and attended two years of college. She liked it there so much that she decided to stay in Georgia and build a life. She continued to be a member of Creekside Baptist Church and loved the Lord.
Jocilyn loved to ride her bike, sew, read and be with friends. She recently took up an interest in cooking and would call home for advice.
Jocilyn had many friends here in Oregon and in Georgia who will miss her greatly and are deeply saddened by her tragic and untimley death. Her family loves and misses her very much.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth Wellborn of Scappoose, Oregon; father, Gerald Don Williams of Ft. Meyers, Florida; sisters: Petra Wellborn-Kaiser of Scappoose, Oregon and Italy Hunt of Lincoln City, Oregon; and brother, Jeff Williams of Singapore; Grandmother, Ellen Wellborn of Portland, Oregon and Grandfather, Virgil Wellborn of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Aunts: Sherry Wellborn of Eugene, Oregon, Lori Wellborn of Beaverton, Oregon and Anna Wellborn of Portland, Oregon.
A funeral service will be Monday, November 6, 2006 at Creekside Baptist Church. Private interment will be at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery.
