John "Jack" G. Kegg
John "Jack" G. Kegg of Columbia City Oregon died January 2, 2009. He was 87.
Kegg was born on November 16, 1921 in Sacramento, California. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He lived in the Portland Metro area beginning in 1944, when he married Josephine Phillip. In 1994, he married Darlene Yarmer.
Kegg is survived by his wife, Darlene Kegg of Columbia City, his daughter Julia Ann Kegg of Portland; his step-children Robert Hamilton and Debbi Sharron and one brother, Joseph Kegg of Beaver Creek, Oregon. Five grandchildren and one also survive him step-son-in-law.
Visitations were held on Monday, January 5, 2009 at the Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens, Oregon.
A Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial were held on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at St.Frederic Catholic Church in St. Helens, Oregon.
Committal service was held on Tuesday, January 6, at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
