John David Moore's Obituary
John David Moore, March 13, 1956 - July 26, 2023, passed away peacefully at Spring Meadows Assisted Living in St Helens, OR after a battle with colon cancer. John had been living at Spring Meadows since December and really enjoyed the family he met there. From the caregivers to the other residents, everyone loved John as he was always helping and conversing with them. He was happy there. Previously, he had lived with his Mom, Dolores, and was always willing to help her. John enjoyed fishing and being a collector of ‘stuff’. His dry sense of humor made you just smile.
John was preceded in death by his sister, Teri, and his parents, Dolores and John who will be waiting for him at heavens gates. He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Tom, Jackie, Jim (Rose), Janet (Monte) and Jill (Llee) and brother-in-law Ross Allsup, as well as a large group of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

It was these fine people who gave so much love and caring to John in his last weeks. We can not thank them enough for help in this transition from life to death. We also want to thank the staff and residents at Spring Meadows whose love, care and support made John’s last year so fulfilling.
