John Calvin Stutsman
July 16, 1928 – June 22, 2014
Cal was born in Hammond, Indiana to Paul & Pearl Stutsman. He married the love of his life, Delores (Dee) in 1963. He worked for Mobil Oil in East Chicago, Indiana and Ferndale, Washington for 33 years. Besides his family, Cal’s passions were cars and guns.
He was a regular at the Lynden/Custer Gun Club and was an excellent marksman. In 2011 they moved to Scappoose, Oregon where they spent their final years.
Cal’s family loved him and will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dee and Brother Paul Jr. He leaves behind daughters Wendy Stutsman of Scappoose, and Jan Bogielski (Craig) of Hammond Indiana, son David (Janet) of Bellingham, Washington, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren.
A service will be held at Moles Funeral Home in Bellingham, Washington on July 5 at 11:00.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Hospice.
